AARP Driver Safety Program
This course benefits Oklahoma licensed drivers of any age. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate of attendance which may provide a discount on your car insurance premium. Students are encouraged to bring their own beverages to class as there are no concession machines located in the building. Class will be released for a one hour lunch break. A cash fee will be collected by the instructor the day of the class—$20 for AARP Members (must show card), $25 for non-members. -
AARP Smart Driver Course
This course will help you refresh your driving skills and knowledge of the rules and hazards of the road and may reduce your chances of receiving a traffic violation or getting into an accident. Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED & First Aid (Ages 13-Adult) - April
Learn and demonstrate CPR for adults. Learn to recognize and provide care for emergency situations such as cardiac, stroke, bleeding, and learn about legal and safety issues. The certification is good for two years and meets course requirements for OSHA and Oklahoma Department of Human Services Childcare Division, adoption, and foster care. This is not a Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer certification course. -
Ballroom Basics (Adult)
Ballroom Basics is an introductory course to Ballroom Dancing. Footwork, timing, partnership connections, and lead/follow techniques will be covered as we learn the basics of the Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, and Swing. Class interest will be taken into consideration for additional dances such as Salsa, Night-Club, Two-step, or Bachata. This course is designed to be a fun course to take with a partner with no previous dance experience necessary. -
Beginning Pottery Wheel & Open Studio (Ages 15-Adult)
This class is perfect for creatives eager to explore pottery-making. Learn skills like throwing on the wheel, hand-building bowls, and mastering clay techniques. Explore glazing to add beautiful finishes to your work. Whether you're a beginner or refining skills, this hands-on class offers the perfect opportunity to create. Beginning Spanish I (Ages 15-Adult)
Beginning Spanish I is an introduction to basic vocabulary and phrases useful for common travel and simple conversational skills. Students will get plenty of in class conversation practice, will get copies of practice activities to reinforce their learning, and will learn practical Spanish they can use immediately in the community, a restaurant, or travel abroad. -
Beginning Spanish II (Ages 15-Adult)
Beginning Spanish II continues with more vocabulary development and more in-class conversational practice putting to use everything we study and practice in Beginning Spanish I to use. We will work on vocabulary to help you travel, plan a trip abroad, learn to express things you do, help you with shopping abroad, and more!. -
Beginning Tennis (Ages 5-Adult)
Get ready to have a blast with this lifelong sport! Whether you're a newbie or have some experience, you'll learn both basic and advanced tennis strokes and strategies—or you can just practice your skills! Bring your own racket if you have one; if not, no worries! We’ll provide the tennis balls. Just a heads-up: there’s a $10 cash supply fee that the instructor will collect at the first class. Let’s have some fun on the court! -
Beginning Wheel & Open Pottery Studio (Ages 15-Adult)
Participants will learn basic skills and tips needed to throw cylinders on a pottery wheel, hand-build vessels and other techniques for clay art. Students will also learn the basics of glazing bisque-fired pieces. A $30 cash supply fee will be collected by the instructor at the first class. -
Blooming Paper Artistry Workshop (Adult)

Cookies and Canvas (Ages 7-Adult. Adult must accompany minor)
Uncover your inner artist while sharing an evening of sweet treats and self-expression. Follow along with the instructor as she demonstrates the step-by-step process of recreating the evening's featured painting. Students take home their completed masterpieces. Supplies are included. Country Line Dance (Ages 16-Adult)
Come scoot your boots with us! Learn the basics of country line dancing and enjoy some old favorites along with some new ones. Boot Scootin’ Boogie, Reggae Cowboy, Southside Shuffle, Five-Step, Head Over Boots are the current plan, and we will take requests for others dances as well. Loose clothing and closed-toe shoes are strongly suggested. No partner needed. Come dance with us! -

In this class, students will crochet cozy coasters, pot holders, and beanies—perfect for chilly days! They’ll also receive take-home patterns to continue their crochet journey. The instructor will introduce a variety of projects, from clothes to stuffed animals and blankets, exploring the colorful world of fiber arts. A $20 materials fee covers hooks, yarn, and supplies to keep. It's sure to be a fun and creative experience! -

Elements of Watercolor (Ages 7-Adult. Adult must accompany minor)

Intermediate Spanish I (Ages 15-Adult)
Intermediate Spanish I is a continuation of Intermediate Spanish from the Spring Semester or for those with basic Spanish vocabulary and conversation skills. We will work on discussing and speaking in different tenses, and learn vocabulary phrases and expressions to be used in everyday contexts across a variety of topics. We will also get plenty of real life practice and experience conversing and listening to Spanish in class. -
Introduction to American Sign Language (Ages 13-adult)
Come learn some of the basics of this visual language, from ABCs and 123s, to common greetings, family terms and more. Class will include plenty of hands-on practice and interaction, to make this a fun and engaging course. Whether you have deaf family or coworkers you want to communicate with, or just want to explore ASL, this is the perfect start! A $20, cash or check, textbook fee will be collected by the instructor at the first class. -
Introduction to Comedy (Ages 15-Adult)
In this class, budding comedians will utilize the basics of improv, act-outs, and creative thinking to develop a five-minute comedy routine. In the process, students will learn tips and tricks to overcome stage fright as well as improve their communication skills and confidence in public speaking.
