Rising Performers (Grades 5-6)
Jenks West Intermediate After-School Classes

Rising Performers is designed for 5th and 6th graders who are ready to take their acting journey to the next level! In this dynamic class, students will build their skills and confidence through character development, scene work, and advanced acting techniques. Through fun exercises and creative challenges, they will explore their creativity on stage, work collaboratively with peers, and develop the tools to bring powerful performances to life. The semester will culminate in a free showcase performance, where students will present their newly refined acting abilities for friends and family, celebrating their progress and passion for the stage! Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. Removing your payment method from the enrollment does NOT remove you from the course. You will continue to be charged and will have a balance on your account. Drop-Off Procedure Direct Transition: On their designated class day, students should go directly from their regular class to the theatre classroom. Attendance Check: A quick roll call will be conducted at the start of each class to ensure all students are present. Pick-Up Procedure Escorted Dismissal: Immediately after class, the instructor will bring all students to the designated car pickup line at their school. Authorized Pickup Only: Only individuals authorized by parents or guardians will be allowed to pick up students.

STEM Exploration (Grades 2–4)
Jenks Northwest Elementary After-School Classes

Explore STEM in a fun, hands-on class! Students will take on challenges in areas such as computer science, coding, robotics, mechanics and structures, and 3D graphic design. Students will dive into these areas through Tinkercad 3D Design Studio®, K'Nex®, Zometool®, Lego Spike®, DASH Robots®, Sphero Mini Robotics®, Book Creator®, Stop Motion Pro®, and so much more. You won't want to miss this class. Students will be sent by classroom teachers to go directly to the Northwest STEM Lab at dismissal time.

Tippi Toes After-School Dance Class (Grades Pre-K–1)
Jenks East Elementary After-School classes

This program offers a positive environment, professional instructors, and weekly classes with no weekly Saturday commitment! Your child will have a blast learning fundamental pom and cheer technique from the Jenks High School Pom Technique Coach Kim Clark while making new friends. Students will have the opportunity to perform at several Jenks athletic and community events in the surrounding area. Jenks Chess Club (Grades 1–12)
Chess

This class is the perfect place to sharpen your skills and enjoy the game of chess with other students. Beginners will learn the fundamentals, including piece movement, rules, and basic checkmates, while more experienced players will dive into advanced strategies and tactics.
