  • Amazing Athletes (Grades Pre-K-4)

    Explore a variety of sports in this unique and fun fitness class for kids. Students will learn the fundamentals of nine major ball sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse, and golf. Throughout the program, students will learn proper stretching techniques, practice agility drills, improve hand-eye coordination, gain cardio endurance, and increase muscle tone.   • Comic Book Making (Grades 1-4)

    In this fun, creative class, students will dive into the world of drawing while designing their own characters, telling exciting stories, and even making pop-up books! They'll learn comic book structure, explore different drawing materials, and bring their ideas to life with their own unique artwork. With plenty of storytelling and imagination, each class is an adventure in creativity! Whether sketching characters or building narratives, students will have a blast while developing their drawing skills. Let the art and stories come to life! Students will meet at JWE Studio A (Room 234). Students at the lower JWE campus will be able to walk to building A from their building. If traveling from the JWE upper campus, or another site, you will drop off your student to building A curbside. Pick up will be held immediately following class at JWE Building A curbside located off 91st Street.
  • Drone Adventures: Soaring to New Heights! (Grades 3-4)

    Are you ready to take to the skies? In this super fun class, you’ll get to master the controls of drones—just like a real pilot! We’ll dive into exciting challenges like obstacle courses, where you can show off your flying skills. You'll also learn how drones help in real-life rescue missions. Along the way, you’ll develop important skills like teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. Join us for hands-on learning adventure as we discover the amazing world of drones. For younger students or those indicating they need extra assistance, the instructor will be stationed at key cafeteria entrance to ensure students can be escorted to the room where instruction will take place. Attendance will be taken to ensure everyone is accounted for.
  • Lego Stop Motion Animation (Grades 2-4)

    Are you ready to unleash your creativity? If you love Legos® and movies, this is the perfect class for you! Join us for an exciting adventure where you’ll create your very own Lego® movie! Dive into the art of stop motion animation as you bring your wildest stories to life using Legos® and other fun materials. You’ll get to experiment with a green screen, add awesome music and sound effects, master a walk cycle, and even create cool title credits! Best of all, you’ll share your amazing animations with the class on the final day. Let’s make movie magic together! Immediately following class, we will use the bus oval at the lower campus for pick-up. (Building E)

  • Tippi Toes After-School Dance Class (Grades Pre-K-1)

    Tippi Toes® Dance offers an exciting, fun and energetic ballet, tap and jazz combo class for Pre-K to first grade. Class will begin with stretching exercises and expand into movements and activities that encourage dancers to use their imaginations while learning the basics of each type of dance to high energy music. Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. PreK dancers will be picked up during PreK dismissal. They will be walked to the classroom where Tippi Toes will take place. They will have time for a snack (sent from home) and a restroom break before the older dancers are dismissed to join us.
  • West Taekwondo Karate - After School (Grades K-4)

    Develop self-confidence, self-control, proper attitude, respect, coordination, balance, flexibility, and physical fitness in this fun and enriching class. Evening karate classes on Tuesday and Thursday are included in class fee and will begin January 7 at Southeast Elem Gym. Little Dragons 3-6 years, 6-6:30pm; Beginner and Intermediate 7 years & Up, 6:30-7:15pm; Advanced, 7:15-8pm. *NEW!! Class tuition will be billed by Auto-Pay/Recurring Payments only. Tuition is due by the first of each month and will be automatically withdrawn the 1st of each month.Your first payment will be drafted at that time, and the next payments will be automatically withdrawn the 1st of each month after you sign up. For example-if you sign up in December for the January class, your next payment will draft February 1st. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. Removing your payment method from the enrollment does NOT remove you from the course. You will continue to be charged and will have a balance on your account. Kindergarten students will be picked up from their Building B immediately following school. We will walk them around to the gym where we will meet the 1st graders and up. Our class lasts 45 minutes. Once class is over, we will walk the aftercare kids back to the cafeteria and all other students out to the curb to meet their parents. **Monthly class tuition, $85.00 for the first student, $80.00 for the second family member, $10.00 for the third family member, and $1.00 for each student after the third. No senior discount. Taekwondo Karate payments must go directly to Jenks Community Education. Do not give payment to the instructor or the school.
  • Young Actors Studio (Grades 3-4)

    Explore the exciting world of acting! This engaging class introduces fundamentals like character creation and performance techniques through games, improvisation, and creative exercises. Students will build confidence, stretch their imaginations, and develop team working skills. The semester concludes with a free performance showcasing their newfound skills. Whether they’re new to acting or looking to expand their talents, every child will leave ready for their next big role! Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. Drop-Off Procedure Direct Transition: On their designated class day, students should go directly from their regular class to the theatre classroom. Attendance Check: A quick roll call will be conducted at the start of each class to ensure all students are present. Pick-Up Procedure Escorted Dismissal: Immediately after class, the instructor will bring all students to the designated car pickup line at their school. Authorized Pickup Only: Only individuals authorized by parents or guardians will be allowed to pick up students.
