  • Co-ed Pickleball for Beginners (Grades 5-6)

    Come have a ball with us! Pickleball is growing in popularity and appeals to all age groups. Played with a paddle, this sport combines many of the same playing elements of other paddle sports, making it easy for beginners to catch on. But don’t let the simplicity fool you because it often develops into a fast-paced, competitive game. Paddles are available for use, but if you have your own, please bring it. We will meet in the gym immediately after school ends. Pick up in oval parking lot immediately after class.

    Join us for an action-packed volleyball basics course! Dive into the fun as you learn essential skills like bump, set, and serve in a supportive and energetic environment. Each class, we’ll focus on building your skills and then split into teams for exciting games. This is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends while mastering one of the most popular sports around! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, come and discover the thrill of volleyball. Let’s bump, set, and spike our way to fun together! Students will go directly to the gym when classes are dismissed. Instructor will meet them there. A text will be sent to all parents informing them that pick up is in the back of the school in the bus oval promptly at 3:45.

  • Draw, Paint, Create! (Grades 5-6)

    In this hands-on art class, students will get creative with clay, paint, and pencils to make awesome projects they can take home! They'll sculpt animal figures out of clay, paint their own version of a Van Gogh masterpiece with acrylics, and draw cartoon characters using colored pencils. It’s a perfect mix of imagination and art skills—get ready to create some amazing pieces and unleash your inner artist! Students will be picked up in the back of the school (north side) by the bus oval at 3:45.
  • Rising Performers (Grades 5-6)

    Rising Performers is designed for 5th and 6th graders who are ready to take their acting journey to the next level! In this dynamic class, students will build their skills and confidence through character development, scene work, and advanced acting techniques. Through fun exercises and creative challenges, they will explore their creativity on stage, work collaboratively with peers, and develop the tools to bring powerful performances to life. The semester will culminate in a free showcase performance, where students will present their newly refined acting abilities for friends and family, celebrating their progress and passion for the stage! Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. Drop-Off Procedure Direct Transition: On their designated class day, students should go directly from their regular class to the theatre classroom. Attendance Check: A quick roll call will be conducted at the start of each class to ensure all students are present. Pick-Up Procedure Escorted Dismissal: Immediately after class, the instructor will bring all students to the designated car pickup line at their school. Authorized Pickup Only: Only individuals authorized by parents or guardians will be allowed to pick up students.
  • Trojan Show Choir (Grades 5-6)

    This spring, students in 5th and 6th grade can join an exciting choir experience full of music, movement, and collaboration! They’ll focus on mastering vocal techniques, tackling challenging songs, and singing in harmony. With a mix of choreography and teamwork, this dynamic group encourages creative expression and peer connections. Students will perform at an end-of-year showcase for family and friends. Whether experienced or new to singing, it’s a fantastic opportunity to grow, perform, and have fun! At school dismissal, students will walk with bus riders to the gym and then proceed to room 112, Mrs. Deaton´s music room. After choir, students should be picked up in the car line at the front of West Intermediate no later than 3:35.
