    Perfect for first-time test takers or those aiming to boost ACT scores, this class covers all key sections: Science, Math, and English/Reading/Writing. Students will learn test strategies, time management, and review essential content. Materials and a study book are provided—just bring a pencil, calculator, and get ready to succeed!
  • Amazing Athletes (Ages 2.5–5)

    This is a unique and fun-filled sports-based fitness class. Students will learn the fundamentals of track and field, as well as nine major ball sports: baseball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse, and golf while incorporating proper stretching, cardio, muscle tone, agility drills and hand-eye coordination. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. If your student is not currently enrolled in Little Trojan Academy, a parent or guardian must sign them in and out of the facility and remain on-site for the entire class.

  • Art Camp: Fairy Garden (Incoming grades 1–5)

    Step into a magical miniature world! In Fairy Garden Camp, young artists will design and create their very own fairy gardens made of tiny fairy houses, gardens, pathways, and whimsical details while exploring creativity, imagination, and hands-on construction. Each child will leave with a magical fairy garden creation to treasure. Drop off and pick up at JWE building A curbside. Students may bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack each day. All supplies are included in the course fee.
  • Art Club: Draw, Play, Create (Grades 1–4)

    Students will use a variety of mediums—pencil, watercolor, and charcoal—to focus on perspective, composition, shadow, and mark making. We will learn from observation and explore imaginative drawing as well. This is a wonderful class for those who want to learn basic drawing techniques while discovering their own artistic voice and building confidence through a range of art processes. All supplies are included.

  • Beginner Stage Combat (Incoming grades 10–12)

    Step into the action and learn how to act like the pros—safely and convincingly! Perfect for high school students interested in theater or trying something new, this high-energy class teaches you how to connect and flow with partners to create realistic fight scenes—without anyone getting hurt. Led by a certified stage combat instructor and Jenks Public Schools theater teacher, you’ll train in safe falls, punches, knees, hair pulls, slaps, and short-form quarterstaff combat while building teamwork, focus, and physical awareness. The week ends with a choreographed performance for family and friends. Get ready to take the stage.

    Interested in improving your babysitting skills? Come learn child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. Topics will include how to start a babysitting business, water hazards, infant feeding, hand washing, choking, and basic first aid and CPR. This class is offered through the American Safety and Health Institute. Students will receive a workbook and a two-year certification card upon completion of the course.     This sport combines many of the same playing elements of other paddle sports, making it easy for beginners to catch on. But don’t let the simplicity fool you because it often develops into a fast-paced, competitive game. Paddles are available for use, but if you have your own, please bring it.
  • Co-ed Youth Pickleball Camp (Incoming grades 5–8)

    This camp offers a fun and supportive environment where participants will learn the fundamentals of pickleball, including essential skills such as serving, rallying, and game strategies. Through instructional sessions, drills, and friendly competitions, campers will enhance their physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This camp promises active play, laughter, and lasting memories on the court!
  • Comic Book Creators Camp (Incoming grades 3–6)

    BAM! POW! ZAP! In this camp, young artists will become authors and illustrators as they design their own original comic books. Campers will create characters, develop storylines, learn panel layout, experiment with expressive drawing, and bring their stories to life from cover to final page. This camp is perfect for students who love drawing, storytelling, superheroes, graphic novels, or creating their own imaginative worlds. Each artist will leave with a completed comic book to share and enjoy. Drop off and pick up at JWE building A curbside. Students may bring a water bottle and nut-free snack each day.   • Detective Science Camp (Incoming grades 4–6)

    In this engaging class, students explore chemistry, physics, and forensic science to crack codes, mix reactions, and investigate real-world mysteries. They’ll learn espionage-style ciphers and create invisible ink messages. Budding chemists will conduct exciting “Boom, Splat, Fizz” experiments, including magnetic slime with iron oxide and erupting volcano cakes. In the Water Lab, students tackle the Water Filter Challenge using sand, gravel, and charcoal, and create colorful layered density drinks. The discovery continues with biotech and optics as participants build a pool noodle periscope to explore light reflection and construct edible DNA models using licorice and marshmallows—an interactive experience full of creativity, science, and fun.
  • Drone Engineering Camp (Incoming grades 3–5)

    Join us for a fun, hands-on 4-day introduction to drone technology! Campers will learn how drones work as they build, program, and safely fly them. Through interactive lessons and team challenges, students explore basic flight, simple engineering, and beginner coding while guiding drones through obstacle courses. Perfect for beginners, this camp builds confidence, problem-solving, teamwork, and STEM skills in an energetic, supportive environment.
  • East Elementary Taekwondo Karate (Grades K–4)

    Join this high-energy Taekwondo class where kids build strength, confidence, and self-discipline while having fun! Students learn self-defense, improve coordination, and practice respect in a supportive environment. As they move through belt levels, they gain pride and a sense of achievement that carries into everyday life. It’s a great way to grow physically and mentally! Evening karate classes at Southeast Elementary on Tuesdays and Thursdays are included in the class fee. Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month.   • East Intermediate Early Back Academy (Incoming 5th Grade Students from EE & SE & 6th Grade Students new to the District)

    Early Back Academy provides fun and enriching activities so students can learn about their new school and experience an easier transition in the fall. Students will learn how to stay organized, discover ways to solve typical school problems, meet principals, and teachers while making new friends. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle each day. Enjoy snacks daily and pizza for lunch on the last day. Open to all incoming 5th grade and new-to-district 6th grade student attending East Intermediate in Fall 2026. Appropriate dress is shorts, t-shirts, sandals/shoes. Inappropriate dress is excessively short shorts, spaghetti strap tops, sagging pants. If your student needs a paraprofessional at Early Back Academy, please mark that on this enrollment form. Held at Jenks East Intermediate main building. Please enter from 91st Street next to the tennis courts. Drop students off in the front oval and pick them up in the back north car oval. Expect delays and allow extra time due to construction. Enrollment is limited. Early Back is a voluntary, tuition-based program.

Through simple, easy-to-follow steps, we’ll cover how computers work, how to navigate programs, and how to stay safe online. You'll practice using tools like Google Docs, Slides, and Microsoft Word to create documents, presentations, and more. You will also learn how to save, organize, and share files for easy access and collaboration. Whether for school, a future job, or everyday life, you will gain practical skills you can use right away—and feel more in control of your digital world. By the end of the class, students will be able to: Understand the basic parts of a computer and how it works Stay safe online and protect their personal information Recognize unsafe websites, scams, and risky downloads Choose and use tools like Google Docs, Slides, Word, and Excel appropriately Use Google Drive and Microsoft Office to create and manage their work Save, rename, and organize files for easy access Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with confidence Collaborate online and know which tools work best for teamwork vs. final projects Share files effectively based on access and privacy needs
