I have an Associate degree in Journalism from Dodge City Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Mass Communications/Radio & TV from Kansas State University. I was the Chief Recording Engineer and voice talent at Irving Productions in Tulsa for 31 years and worked with George 'Goober' Lindsay (Andy Griffith Show), George 'NORM!' Wendt (Cheers), Gailard Sartain, and Jeanne Tripplehorn. In 2016 I was presented with the 'Silver Addy' Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2012 I started Irving Sound from my home studio in Jenks where I still work as an independent voice talent (both on and off camera) and audio engineer/producer. My client list includes ESPN, the Outdoor Channel, Honda, NBC, plus hundreds of local, regional, national, and worldwide organizations. I have recorded over 30 audio books for Audible and independent publishers. I'm currently in the process of recording a 3-book set for Audible called “Dead Blood,” a mystery sci-fi trilogy dealing with zombies, vampires, and humans in a world turned upside down after a world-wide pandemic!
I'm married to Cindy, my lovely wife of 41 years and have 2 sons, Parker and Mason who are both 'Jenks Lifers'.
