My name is Kristi Alcorn and I have offered this course since 2018. I am an Art Teacher at Jenks West Elementary. I received my BFA in Studio Arts from Rogers State University, where I took 9 hours of 3D Art/Wheel Throwing at their Clay Lab. I love working with clay for so many reasons. It is a versatile, forgiving, and very therapeutic material to work with. I love to see what the clay becomes when I throw a piece on the wheel, and feel like magic happens when you take a newly glazed piece out of the kiln.
My name is Jamie Lents. I love all things arts, crafts, and creativity! I grew up in a house of artists and musicians and have tried to pass that passion on to my own children. Pottery has been a part of my hobbies since I was a teenager and love sharing tips, tricks, and ideas for how to make other's projects come to life!
