Beth Howard has been in special education in the school setting since 1995, beginning as a speech-language pathologist. After working closely with special education teachers as an SLP, Beth sought to develop deeper relationships with their students by becoming a special education teacher at Jenks Freshman Academy. During that time, she grew to love working with teenagers and young adults, deeply caring about how to improve their lives after high school.
Beth is currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Jenks Public Schools and works closely with special education staff district-wide to support students with behavior challenges. When not working, Beth loves traveling to visit her adult children, spending time with her husband and dog, and helping work on their 1971 VW BUS, which will hopefully be ready to drive to class soon!
