My name is Peggy Morrow, I am going into my 30th year of teaching Physical Education, 20 of those years have been at Jenks East Intermediate. I have my National Board Certification, Masters in Sports Administration and am NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) certified.
My goal is for students to have a place to come after school to enjoy being physically active and to learn new activities. The camp provides a fun way of developing skills to help prepare them for the archery team if they choose. We shoot at balloons, play tic tac toe and have friendly competitions. The archery team is more focused on improving our skills and preparing for competitions against other teams.
I have always told my students that I want the gym to be their "happy place" whether it is during the school day or after school during camp activities.
