Credit Recovery tuition is provided only for Jenks Public Schools students through a grant for Summer 2024. Students may only take one course (1/2 credit) each semester for a total of two courses (one credit) in Summer School. For in-person and online courses, enroll your child for the semester(s) that need to be retaken. Enrollments for JPS Summer School students are not finalized until they approved by a counselor through our automated process. When your student’s enrollment has been approved, they will be moved into the appropriate class. If your student is not approved for summer school, we will contact you. JPS students will not be moved into a course without counselor approval.
THE COURSE SAYS WAITLIST. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? How do I enroll my student: (read below)
When attempting to enroll your student in this course you will see that it is waitlisted. That is okay. You are in the correct place! Enroll your student with the 'enroll now' option listed on this course page. You will be taken to a page that will inform you that the course you are selecting is full. Select the option to enroll on the waitlist. Select your student. Accept the terms and conditions. You will now be on the questionnaire page. Please fill out the questionnaire and correctly select the course that your student is planning to make up (students must have received an F to use credit recovery funds) in summer school. (if your student is doing two semesters, you will need to do two separate enrollments) When your student has been approved by their school counselor, they will be moved into the appropriate class. JPS students will not be moved into a course without counselor approval. Payment will not be taken until students are moved into the appropriate summer school class. You will receive an email when your student has been approved. They will then be moved into the course and payment will be processed. If there are any issues with payment, students will be moved back to the waitlist until payment can be processed.
If your student has been approved, or would like to be approved, to take one of the courses listed as make-up credit to get ahead or make a better grade, enroll on this link and choose to save a payment method, or call 918-299-4415 x6078.
If you have specific questions regarding enrollment in summer school and/or the courses or semester your child needs to retake, please reach out to your child's counselor.
