Our program objectives are clear and unwavering. Our primary goal is to maintain and sustain boys volleyball at Jenks High School, ensuring that it thrives and grows for years to come. We are committed to our vision of making boys volleyball an official school sport, legitimizing its place among the school's athletic programs. By continuing the legacy of excellence that has been established by past teams, we aim to solidify our place in the school's history and create a lasting impact on the future of the sport at Jenks. In addition to our competitive goals, we are dedicated to community involvement, fostering positive relationships both within the school and the surrounding area. Our program also strives to maintain a state championship level of excellence, setting high standards for performance and success both on and off the court. With unwavering dedication and a shared commitment to excellence, we will work tirelessly to achieve these objectives and ensure that boys volleyball at Jenks remains a source of pride and accomplishment for years to come.

Program Motto: WIN

        “W”— "We" means being a team, no ifs, ands, or buts. It's about supporting each other and the coach, no questions asked. Lean in, be coachable, do what you're told without drama. Have each other's backs, fight together, not against each other. We're in this together, united and focused on winning as a team. That's what "we" means here.

       “I”— "Inspiring Perfection" means setting the bar high and pushing ourselves to be the best we can be. It's about striving for excellence in everything we do, leaving no room for mediocrity. We inspire perfection by demanding the best from ourselves and each other, pushing beyond our limits to reach our full potential. It's about chasing greatness with relentless determination, never settling for anything less than our absolute best. And when coaches push us to our limits, we respond positively, embracing the challenge and using it as fuel to drive us forward. That's what "inspiring perfection" is all about – setting the standard, embracing the challenge, and refusing to accept anything less.

       “N”— "Nurturing Champions" refers to the holistic approach of supporting and developing individuals to achieve success, both on and off the court. It involves taking care of oneself physically, mentally, and emotionally to optimize performance and overall well-being. This includes eating right to fuel the body for peak performance, as well as prioritizing self-care practices to maintain health and resilience. In addition, "Nurturing Champions" emphasizes the importance of attending to the details, both in training and in everyday life, to build a strong foundation for success. This comprehensive approach fosters a mindset of continuous growth, self-improvement, and dedication to excellence, ultimately leading to the development of champions in sports and in life.

Coaching Philosophy

As a coach, I am dedicated to more than just teaching the fundamentals of the game. My coaching philosophy is centered around empowering my players to reach their full potential, both as athletes and as individuals. I believe that every moment, both on and off the court, presents an opportunity for growth and learning. By emphasizing values such as hard work, respect, and perseverance, I aim to cultivate not only skilled volleyball players, but also confident, resilient young men. I am committed to providing unwavering support and guidance, both during their time on the team and long after, as they continue to navigate life's challenges and pursue their dreams. Together, we will not only achieve success on the volleyball court, but also build a strong foundation for success in all areas of life.
