Amazing Athletes (Ages 5-9)
This is a unique and fun filled sports-based fitness class for boys and girls ages 5 - 9 years old. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of nine major sports including: baseball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse and golf while incorporating proper stretching, cardio, muscle tone, agility drills and hand-eye coordination and more. 6 classes -
Archery Camp (Grades 3 & 4)
Learn the rules of archery, how to properly shoot a bow, how to keep score as well as being able to identify the equipment. Along with a lot of practice, students will get the opportunity to compete against others and play several competitive games. The camp is taught by a qualified NASP (National Archery in the School Program) certified instructor. This sport is very disciplined and structured allowing for a safe environment for all participants. All equipment is provided by the instructor. 4 classes. -
Fun with Clay (Grades 3-4)
Hang out after school in the art room and create with clay! This class will feature different lessons than previous classes, and will include opportunities to experiment on your own. 5 Classes -
Get Messy with Clay (K-2)
Geared towards younger students in grades Kindergarten through 2nd; this class will be experimenting with CLAY! We will learn new techniques to create art with clay, including both ceramic clay and air dry clays. 4 classes -
Hola! Learning Spanish through Art (Grades K-4)
Let your child discover their inner artist while learning Spanish! The visual and hands-on aspect of art makes it an invaluable part of language learning. Students will practice different art techniques such as tempera, watercolors, oil, pastels and more while learning Spanish in a fun way! All supplies are provided. 4 Classes -
Ribbon Recycle Challenge (Grades 3-4)
Students will collaborate on a work of art made of recycled fair ribbons, and take the lead in choosing ideas and creating. The final work will be entered into the Oklahoma State Fair! 4 Classes -
SE-Taekwondo Karate (Grades K-4) February Pay Per Month
Taekwondo Karate at Jenks Northwest Elementary is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through the 4th grade. Taekwondo Karate develops self-confidence, self-control, proper attitude, builds respect, coordination, balance, flexibility and physical fitness. Taekwondo is suitable and safe to learn for all age groups. Some of the things that karate teaches are self-confidence, self-defense, self-control, team work, respect for others, discipline, team work, concentration and how to make friends. Classes are tailored to your child's age and skill level. You will stretch and exercise virtually every muscle in your body which will improve your mobility. Supplies needed for class are loose fitting clothing or white karate uniform. Evening karate classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings are included in class fee at Southeast Elementary Gym: Little Dragons for ages 3-6 years - 6:00pm to 6:30pm Beginner and Intermediate for 7 years and up - 6:30pm to 7:15pm Advanced - 7:15pm to 8:00pm *NEW THIS YEAR!! Your choice of paying tuition monthly, or we now offer Auto-Pay/Recurring Payments! If you choose to pay monthly, you will still need to log in each month to make your payment online. Tuition is due by the first of each month. Tuition received after the 10th of each month will have a $20 late fee attached. If you choose the Auto-Pay/Recurring Payment option, you will be able to set up your payment method at check out. Your first payment will be drafted at that time, and the next payments will be automatically withdrawn the 1st of each month after you sign up. For Example-if you sign up in December for the January class and select Recurring, your next payment will draft February 1, 2023. Southeast Elementary STEM Exploration Camp (Grades 2-4)
Students will explore and create different projects in LEGO Spike, coding, and robotics. They will be using building kits and software such as K”NEX, LEGO®, Pixel Art, Snap Circuits, computer software programs, and more. Students may bring a water bottle and snack each day to camp. 4 classes -
Tippi Toes Ballet, Tap & Jazz Class Pre-K
Tippi Toes Dance offers exciting, fun and energetic ballet, tap and jazz combo classes. Students enjoy warm-ups, stretching exercises and activities that encourage dancers to use their imagination while learning the basic dances to high energy music. It is not required to have taken any previous dance classes. All skill sets welcome. Your dancer may bring a change of dance clothes or wear non-restrictive school clothes.
