  • Beginning Spanish I (Ages 15-Adult)

    Beginning Spanish I is an introduction to basic vocabulary and phrases useful for common travel and simple conversational skills. Students will get plenty of in class conversation practice, will get copies of practice activities to reinforce their learning, and will learn practical Spanish they can use immediately in the community, a restaurant, or travel abroad.

Students will be encouraged to develop their own unique artistic style while the class paints the same images. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Participants will learn the fundamentals, including grip, stance, swing, chipping, and putting, with personalized tips in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Whether it's your first time with a club or you're perfecting your technique, this clinic is the ideal way to enjoy the game more! Clubs & balls will be provided. Bring your own clubs if you have them.
  • Intermediate Spanish I (Ages 15-Adult)

    Intermediate Spanish I is a continuation of Intermediate Spanish from the Spring Semester or for those with basic Spanish vocabulary and conversation skills. We will work on discussing and speaking in different tenses, and learn vocabulary phrases and expressions to be used in everyday contexts across a variety of topics. We will also get plenty of real life practice and experience conversing and listening to Spanish in class.
  • Introduction to American Sign Language (Ages 13-adult)

    Come learn some of the basics of this visual language, from ABCs and 123s, to common greetings, family terms and more. Class will include plenty of hands-on practice and interaction, to make this a fun and engaging course. Whether you have deaf family or coworkers you want to communicate with, or just want to explore ASL, this is the perfect start! A $20, cash or check, textbook fee will be collected by the instructor at the first class.

    Ready to level up your pickleball game? This class takes you beyond the basics, focusing on fast-paced, competitive play and advanced skills. Challenge yourself, sharpen your strategy, and get ready for some serious fun! Balls are provided, but don’t forget to bring your own paddle. Let’s take your game to the next level! To take this class, you must: 1. Know basic pickleball rules and how to keep score 2. Almost always try to play at the no volley zone, rather than staying at the baseline. 3. Have mastered reliable serving. 4. Have a good degree of athletic ability, including to be able to hit where you aim. 5. Be capable of hitting three or four dinks in a row.   • Pickleball for Beginners (Adult)

    Learn how to play the fastest growing sport in America! This class is open to anyone over 18, however, like most sports, it requires a reasonable amount of fitness and athletic ability. Equipment is provided, but you are encouraged to bring a pickleball paddle if you own one.
  • Taekwondo Karate Night Program (Ages 3-Adult) Monthly Auto Pay

    Join our taekwondo karate evening classes, open to ages 3 and up! Build self-confidence, self-control, and respect while improving coordination, balance, flexibility, and physical fitness. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, our classes are designed for all age groups and skill levels, ensuring a safe and fun learning experience. Develop important life skills while getting fit and having a blast! Supplies needed for class are loose fitting clothing or white karate uniform. Class times: Little Dragons, 3 - 6 years, 6:00 - 6:30pm; Beginner and Intermediate, 7 years & up, 6:30pm - 7:15pm; Advanced, 7:15pm - 8:00pm; Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Class tuition will be billed by Auto-Pay/Recurring Payments! Tuition is due by the first of each month. Your first payment will be drafted at that time, and the next payments will be automatically withdrawn the 1st of each month after you sign up. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. Removing your payment method from the enrollment does NOT remove you from the course. You will continue to be charged and will have a balance on your account. **Monthly class tuition, $85.00 for the first student, $80.00 for the second family member, $10.00 for the third family member, and $1.00 for each student after the third. No senior discount. Taekwondo Karate payments must go directly to Jenks Community Education. Do not give payment to the instructor or the school.
