    Explore a variety of sports in this unique and fun fitness class for kids. Students will learn the fundamentals of nine major ball sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse, and golf. Throughout the program, students will learn proper stretching techniques, practice agility drills, improve hand-eye coordination, gain cardio endurance, and increase muscle tone. Coordinator: Dustin Sewell 918-695-8552. Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. Removing your payment method from the enrollment does NOT remove you from the course. You will continue to be charged and will have a balance on your account.

  • Archery Camp (Grades 3-4)

    Kids can get ready to aim for the bullseye in archery! In this exciting class, they'll learn how to use a bow and arrow, practice their shooting skills, and even keep score like a pro. Taught by a certified NASP instructor, the class is safe, structured, and lots of fun. All equipment is provided—just bring focus and wear closed-toe shoes! It's the perfect way for kids to challenge themselves! Teachers are provided a list of students who need to walk to the gym each Monday. When camp has concluded, students will walk outside the gym to find their parents car in the pick up line.
  • Art Club with Paint (Grades 1-4)

    Join us for a vibrant journey into the world of spring-themed art! Dive into the joy of crafting unique masterpieces using acrylics on canvas and watercolors on paper. With expert tips and a splash of creativity, you'll unleash your imagination in an abstract style and watch your ideas bloom on the canvas. Let’s create something beautiful together! Immediately after class, students will go to the east entrance parent pick up line.
  • Child and Babysitting Safety (Ages 11-15) - April

    Interested in improving your babysitting skills? Come learn child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. Learn about starting a babysitting business, water hazards, infant feeding, hand washing, choking, and basic first aid and CPR. This class is offered through the American Safety and Health Institute. Students will receive a workbook and a two-year certification card upon completion of the course.
  • Clay Fun! (Grades 3-4)

    We're going to unlock the secrets of sculpting with clay, and trust me, it's going to be epic. Have you ever wondered what it's like use a pottery wheel? Well, wonder no more because in this class you will spin a clay masterpiece. So, if you're up for an adventure filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of clay, then this class is for you! Students will meet in room 220. Student pick-up will be immediately following class in the center oval.
  • Co-ed Pickleball for Beginners (Grades 5-6)

    Come have a ball with us! Pickleball is growing in popularity and appeals to all age groups. Played with a paddle, this sport combines many of the same playing elements of other paddle sports, making it easy for beginners to catch on. But don’t let the simplicity fool you because it often develops into a fast-paced, competitive game. Paddles are available for use, but if you have your own, please bring it. We will meet in the gym immediately after school ends. Pick up in oval parking lot immediately after class.
  • Co-ed Volleyball Fundamentals (Grades 5-6)

    Join us for an action-packed volleyball basics course! Dive into the fun as you learn essential skills like bump, set, and serve in a supportive and energetic environment. Each class, we’ll focus on building your skills and then split into teams for exciting games. This is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends while mastering one of the most popular sports around! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, come and discover the thrill of volleyball. Let’s bump, set, and spike our way to fun together! Students will go directly to the gym when classes are dismissed. Instructor will meet them there. A text will be sent to all parents informing them that pick up is in the back of the school in the bus oval promptly at 3:45.
  • Comic Book Making (Grades 1-4)

    In this fun, creative class, students will dive into the world of drawing while designing their own characters, telling exciting stories, and even making pop-up books! They'll learn comic book structure, explore different drawing materials, and bring their ideas to life with their own unique artwork. With plenty of storytelling and imagination, each class is an adventure in creativity! Whether sketching characters or building narratives, students will have a blast while developing their drawing skills. Let the art and stories come to life! All supplies are provided. Students will meet at JWE Studio A (Room 234). Students at the lower JWE campus will be able to walk to building A from their building. If traveling from the JWE upper campus, or another site, you will drop off your student to building A curbside. Pick up will be held immediately following class at JWE Building A curbside located off 91st Street.
  • Draw, Paint, Create! (Grades 5-6)

    In this hands-on art class, students will get creative with clay, paint, and pencils to make awesome projects they can take home! They'll sculpt animal figures out of clay, paint their own version of a Van Gogh masterpiece with acrylics, and draw cartoon characters using colored pencils. It’s a perfect mix of imagination and art skills—get ready to create some amazing pieces and unleash your inner artist! Students will be picked up in the back of the school (north side) by the bus oval at 3:45.
  • Drone Adventures: Soaring to New Heights! (Grades 4-7)

    Are you ready to take to the skies? In this super fun class, you’ll get to master the controls of drones—just like a real pilot! We’ll dive into exciting challenges like obstacle courses, where you can show off your flying skills. You'll also learn how drones help in real-life rescue missions. Along the way, you’ll develop important skills like teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. Join us for hands-on learning adventure as we discover the amazing world of drones.
  • EI Trojan Show Choir (Grade 6)

    Are you a 6th grader who loves singing and dancing? Join the EI Show Choir! You'll learn to read choral music, pick up cool dance moves, and improve your singing—all while having a blast. You'll also get tips on performing like a pro and working with a team. Plus, you'll shine in 2-3 exciting performances throughout the year. And don’t miss the chance to compete in the Heartland Music Festival in OKC on May 3! After the competition, we’ll celebrate with fun at Frontier City! * An additional $59 registration fee for the Heartland Music Festival is payable to the instructor by 4/10/25. After dismissal, students are expected to walk themselves directly to their after-school classroom. Immediately following after-school class dismissal, the instructor will escort the students to the main oval for pick-up.
  • East Taekwondo Karate - After School (Grades K-4)

    Develop self-confidence, self-control, proper attitude, respect, coordination, balance, flexibility, and physical fitness in this fun and enriching class. Evening karate classes on Tuesday and Thursday are included in class fee and will begin January 7 at Southeast Elem Gym. Little Dragons 3-6 years, 6-6:30pm; Beginner and Intermediate, 7 years & Up, 6:30-7:15pm; Advanced, 7:15 -8pm. Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. Kindergarten students will be picked up outside of Building A immediately following school. We will walk them around to the gym where we will meet the 1st graders and up. Our class lasts 45 minutes. Once class is over, we will walk the aftercare kids back to the cafeteria and all other students out to the curb to meet their parents. **Monthly class tuition, $85.00 for the first student, $80.00 for the second family member, $10.00 for the third family member, and $1.00 for each student after the third. No senior discount. Taekwondo Karate payments must go directly to Jenks Community Education. Do not give payment to the instructor or the school.

You’ll get to experiment with a green screen, add awesome music and sound effects, master a walk cycle, and even create cool title credits! Best of all, you’ll share your amazing animations with the class on the final day. Let’s make movie magic together!
