  • ACT Prep Class (Grades 9–12)

    Perfect for first-time test takers or those aiming to boost ACT scores, this class covers all key sections: Science, Math, and English/Reading/Writing. Students will learn test strategies, time management, and review essential content. Materials and a study book are provided—just bring a pencil, calculator, and get ready to succeed!
  • Amazing Athletes (Grades 1–4)

    Explore a variety of sports in this unique and fun fitness class for kids. Students will learn the fundamentals of nine major ball sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse, and golf. Students will learn proper stretching techniques, practice agility drills, improve hand-eye coordination, gain cardio endurance, and increase muscle tone. Coordinator: Dustin Sewell 918-695-8552. Tuition is set up on a monthly recurring basis, auto drafted on the 1st of each month. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. Removing your payment method from the enrollment does NOT remove you from the course. You will continue to be charged and will have a balance on your account.

Led by a certified NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) instructor, students will learn proper shooting techniques, how to handle equipment, and how to keep score—all while building focus, patience, and confidence. This class emphasizes safety, discipline, and fun. No experience needed and all equipment is provided. Just bring your aim and wear closed-toe shoes.

    Looking for something new and exciting to do this fall? Archery camp is the place for you! Learn how to identify the equipment up close, shoot a bow, follow the rules of archery, and compete against others. Taught by a qualified NASP (National Archery in the School Program) instructor, archery is disciplined and structured, creating a safe learning environment. Equipment is provided. Please wear shoes that cover your feet!

    Archery enthusiasts will love being part of this fun and focused team! Students will sharpen their shooting skills, learn advanced techniques, and experience the thrill of friendly competition. Taught by a certified NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) instructor, the class offers a structured and safe environment where discipline and confidence grow. All equipment is provided—just wear closed-toe shoes. Prior archery experience is required. No class 11/24, 12/22, 12/29, 1/5, 1/19, 2/16.

  • Art Club: Draw, Play, Create (Grades 1–4)

    Students will use a variety of mediums—pencil, watercolor, and charcoal—to focus on perspective, composition, shadow, and mark making. Most of our art begins with drawing from observation, but we will also explore imaginative drawing as well. This is a wonderful class for those who want to learn basic drawing techniques while discovering their own artistic voice and building confidence through a range of art processes. All supplies are included in the course fee.
  • Child and Babysitting Safety (Ages 11–15)

    Interested in improving your babysitting skills? Come learn child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. Learn about starting a babysitting business, water hazards, infant feeding, hand washing, choking, and basic first aid and CPR. This class is offered through the American Safety and Health Institute.   • Clay Time (Grades 3-4)

    Get to spend extra time in the art room with Mrs. Harris-Bowles! We will experiment with different types of handbuilding AND time on the pottery wheel, as well. The first 4 classes will be creating with clay, and the last class will include glazing.
  • Co-ed Volleyball Fundamentals (Grades 5–6)

    Learn the basic rules and fundamentals of volleyball such as bump, set, and serve. Make new friends while learning to play this popular and engaging sport. Students will go directly to the gym when classes are dismissed. Instructor will meet them there. A text will be sent to all parents informing them that pick up is in the back of the school in the bus oval promptly at 3:45.
  • Co-ed Youth Pickleball (Grades 5–6)

    Come have a ball with us! Pickleball is growing in popularity and appeals to all age groups. Played with a paddle, this sport combines many of the same playing elements of other paddle sports, making it easy for beginners to catch on. But don’t let the simplicity fool you because it often develops into a fast-paced, competitive game. Paddles are available for use, but if you have your own, please bring it. We will meet in the gym immediately after school ends. Pick up in oval parking lot immediately after class.
  • East Elementary Taekwondo Karate (Grades K–4)

    Join this high-energy Taekwondo class where kids build strength, confidence, and self-discipline while having fun! Students learn self-defense, improve coordination, and practice respect in a supportive environment. As they move through belt levels, they gain pride and a sense of achievement that carries into everyday life. It’s a great way to grow physically and mentally! Evening karate classes at Southeast Elementary on Tuesdays and Thursdays are included in the class fee. Note: This class was listed in the brochure as taking place in the Cafeteria, but meets in the East Elementary Gym as reflected here. For the most updated information, refer to our website. Monthly after-school class tuition also gives student the option to attend our evening sessions held at Southeast Elementary Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The blend of color, creativity, and culture makes this class both educational and enjoyable. All supplies are provided—just bring your imagination! Students will meet the teacher in the building lobby. Immediately after class, students will be brought for pick up in the lobby or oval.

Let’s make this holiday season extra special—one handmade masterpiece at a time!
