Jenks Community Education

This course is an Oklahoma State approved Drivers Education class offered several times throughout the year. Passing completion of this course replaces the written test for the driver's permit. Drivers Education classes are for high school students only. Students must be 15 years old and in the 9th grade or higher prior to the start date of class. Summer Drivers Education class times will be as follows: Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 12:00PM

Taekwondo Karate develops self-confidence, self-control, proper attitude, builds respect, coordination, balance, flexibility and physical fitness. Taekwondo is suitable and safe to learn for all age groups. Some of the things that karate teaches are self-confidence, self-defense, self-control, team work, respect for others, discipline, team work, concentration and how to make friends. Classes are tailored to your age and skill level. You will stretch and exercise virtually every muscle in your body which will improve your mobility. Supplies needed for class are loose fitting clothing or white karate uniform. Tuition will be automatically withdrawn the 1st of each month. If you need to drop the class for any reason you MUST call the Community Education office to be removed from the class. Removing your payment method from the enrollment does NOT remove you from the course. You will continue to be charged and will have a balance on your account. Tuition received after the 10th of each month will have a $20 late fee attached. ***Monthly class tuition, $85.00 for the first student, $80.00 for the second family member, $10.00 for the third family member, and $1.00 for each student after the third. No senior discount. Taekwondo Karate payments must go directly to Jenks Community Education. Do not give payment to the instructor or the school. Monthly after school class tuition also gives student the option to attend our evening sessions held at Southeast Elementary. Class time for evening sessions are as follows; Little Dragons, 3 - 6 years, 6:00 - 6:30pm; Beginner and Intermediate, 7 years & up, 6:30pm - 7:15pm; Advanced, 7:15pm - 8:00pm; Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Coyote has a razor-sharp wit, but he's a little confused about what he sees in the sky. Join this amusing character (adapted from American Indian oral traditions) in a fast-paced and fun show that explores lunar phases, eclipses, and other puzzles. The target audience age for Earth, Moon, and Sun is 4 years to adult. This show is held at the Jenks Planetarium, Jenks High School, Dr. Kirby L. Collaboration and Non-School Day care is a separate program provided to our Adventure Club Program families at an additional cost. Enrollment for each day will begin approximately 2 weeks prior, and will stay open for limited days and only while space is available. Daily hours are 7:00am-5:30pm and students must arrive by 9:00 AM to be admitted. Enrollment is required to attend each NSD/Collaboration day, drop-in attendance will not be accepted. A one-time, yearly $25 nonrefundable activity fee per child is due at the time of enrollment. Pre-K students tuition is $44 per day, and K-6th is $39 per day. The decade long mission uncovered mysteries never before seen and gives us an insight to be applied to the entire solar system. General Seating. 1 show. Group Swim Lessons for Kids, Level 1, is for swimmers (read descriptions below) ages 6 to 14 years. Learn to swim at our state-of-the-art Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center. Swimming is a lifelong activity and knowing how to swim is the first step. From learning how to blow bubbles to mastering the strokes, your child will gain the skills and confidence to enjoy the water and be safe. Give your child an early start by signing up for our American Red Cross swim lessons program where we provide water safety information as well as swim instructions. At the start of each session, we will skill test each child to make sure they are placed in the correct level. Please be aware that your child may be reassigned to a more appropriate class if necessary. In level two through four no more than four to five swimmers will be placed with an instructor per forty-five-minute session. Space is limited so enroll soon! Cost is $160.00 per child.
