Intro to Guitar 101: Chords and Songs (Ages 16-Adults)

Learn basic chords to play and sing simple songs. Focus on learning major and minor open chords, strumming patterns, changing chords. Have fun as you learn to play and sing along to simple popular songs that everyone enjoys. Bring an acoustic OR electric guitar to class. 4 classes.

Guitar Lessons 102 (Ages 16-Adult)

As you continue playing, you will want to learn the mechanics of playing your guitar that will enable you to fully enjoy its beautiful sound. Focus on understanding the instrument, learn to read guitar music charts and tabs, discover additional chords and pick and strum patterns to apply in popular songs. Bring an acoustic OR electric guitar to class. 4 classes.

Sign Language II (Ages 13- Adult)

Join us at this continuation of the Beginning Sign Language course. Through games and activities, learn more about deafness, interpreting and sign language in general. Bring your book from Beginning Sign Language. 7 Classes

Intro to Sign Language (Ages 13- Adult)

Would you like to communicate with someone who is deaf? Learn hundreds of everyday signs as well as the finger spelled alphabet. Games and practice activities will be used. Find out information on the deaf community and local activities. This course will focus on beginning sign vocabulary. It is a great starting place for family members and friends of someone with a hearing loss, for those wanting communication skills and for those who have just always wanted to learn. A textbook fee of $20 (cash) not included in class fee, will be collected by instructor at first class. 7 classes
