Through simple, easy-to-follow steps, we’ll cover how computers work, how to navigate programs, and how to stay safe online. You'll practice using tools like Google Docs, Slides, and Microsoft Word to create documents, presentations, and more. You will also learn how to save, organize, and share files for easy access and collaboration. Whether for school, a future job, or everyday life, you will gain practical skills you can use right away—and feel more in control of your digital world.

By the end of the class, students will be able to:

• Understand the basic parts of a computer and how it works
• Stay safe online and protect their personal information
• Recognize unsafe websites, scams, and risky downloads
• Choose and use tools like Google Docs, Slides, Word, and Excel appropriately
• Use Google Drive and Microsoft Office to create and manage their work
• Save, rename, and organize files for easy access
• Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with confidence
• Collaborate online and know which tools work best for teamwork vs. final projects
• Share files effectively based on access and privacy needs
