Carmon Drummond, a 1995 graduate of Jenks High School, is the Founder and Commissioner of the Oklahoma Interscholastic BMX League, a statewide initiative bringing BMX racing into schools as a recognized athletic program. Driven by a passion that comes from being a mother of three, Carmon is dedicated to getting kids outside, active, and engaged in sports that build both fitness and focus. Through BMX, she champions opportunities for students to trade screen time for movement, teamwork, and real-world challenge. Her vision is to create positive, growth-minded environments where children learn from failure, build resilience, and never give up on themselves. Under her leadership, the League emphasizes character as much as competition—helping young riders develop strength, confidence, and joy through sport, one school, one track, and one rider at a time.
