  • Drivers Education Completion Certificate - Second Copy

    Drivers Education second certificate payment. Select this to pay for a second copy of your Drivers Education completion certificate then contact Debbie Killingworth via email or at 918-299-4415 ext. 6246 to receive certificate.
  • Drivers Education Class April 2025

    Taught by certified teachers, this program offers more classroom instruction hours and safety information than other driving schools and at a lower cost. Students will learn how to safely operate a vehicle, defensive driving techniques, ways to avoid distractions, road rules, traffic laws, and the steps needed to acquire your driver’s permit. The course, approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and Department of Public Safety, is for high school students 15 years of age and entering at least 9th grade prior to the start of class. Class completion replaces the written permit test. In addition, students will complete the “Work Zone Safe” certification course during class, which is now required by the State of Oklahoma. Instruction includes 30 in-person classroom hours and six hours of driving sessions. Click here for a Drivers Education flyer with more information. Classroom dates (30 hours) are March 31 + April 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, and Saturdays April 5 & 12. The six hours of drive time will be scheduled with the instructor once class begins. Jenks Community Education wants to ensure every student has the best opportunity at success while they begin their driving endeavor. **When enrolling, please list your students first, middle and last name as it appears on the birth certificate being provided. Students must provide their birth certificate to Jenks Community Education. It is a state requirement that we obtain the students birth certificate prior to the first day of class. Students who do not provide a birth certificate in the specified time frame indicated will not be able to attend class. Birth Certificates may be: emailed to debbie.killingsworth@jenksps.org (preferred method) hand delivered to the JPS Community Service Center at 951 West Main Street, 3rd Floor, Jenks mailed to ATTN: Debbie Killingsworth, Jenks Community Education, 205 East B Street, Jenks, OK 74037 Cancellations and Transfer Policy: Please notify our office one week (seven days) before class starts to receive a refund (minus a $50 processing fee) or to transfer to a future class. Once the class begins, if a student needs to transfer or does not meet the class attendance or driving requirements(and is dismissed from class), the student may re-enroll for a future course for a $150 fee Students may transfer to a future class one time only.
  • Practice Prep Drive (JCE Car Use)

    Practice Prep Drive ONLY The practice prep drive is open for any current JPS student who has completed an Oklahoma-approved drivers education program. Must have permit. The practice drive will help prepare the student before their test day.Use of the Drivers Education car is required for the practice drive. This registration does NOT include the drive test. That registration is separate. Students can take the drive test on the same day as this practice drive. Select the desired month for the practice drive below. Shortly after enrollment, a JCE driving instructor will contact parents with more details and schedule the practice drive time offered various weekdays between 4:15-6:15pm. See desired month for specific available dates.
  • Driving Lessons Only April-May

    If your student would benefit from extra time behind the wheel, this is the course for them! Students must have completed JCE Drivers Education and have their certificate of completion. These lessons consist of six hours of additional behind-the-wheel time. Driving days and times will be scheduled by the instructor shortly after enrollment, in order to accommodate your schedule.
  • Skip the Line! Drive Test Only

    Skip the line! We are proud to now offer the Drive Test for all eligible drivers! If you are an Oklahoma Learner Permit holder, or an eligible driver over the age of 18, and are ready to take the Drive Test, skip the line at the DMV and take it with Jenks Community Education. We strive to keep our eligibility requirements listed here accurate, but recommend visiting Service Oklahoma for any eligibility questions and the most up-to-date eligibility requirements. At least 16 years old Must have held a Learner Permit for 180 days Permit has not expired No traffic convictions for 180 days immediately preceding the drive test Complete the Oklahoma Work Zone Safe course Student must have a copy of their Drivers Education certificate of completion or Affidavit of Driver Training (for parent-taught) available to show the instructor before the test begins Over 18 years old If you have a permit, you must have held it for at least 30 days before applying for an unrestricted license and it must not have not expired in the past 3 years If your permit has been expired over 3 years or you have never possessed a learner permit, you must have completed the Written Test at a Service Oklahoma Licensing Office $70 Drive Test (with personal car use) Retesting is $55 per time (with personal car use) please select this option from the drop down when enrolling and instructor will contact you to schedule your retest. For JPS students only: Additional $20 charge for students who need to use the JCE car for the Drive Test. (This is a separate charge and must be added to your cart separately from the $70 Drive Test charge). Time slots are between 9:00AM - 4:00PM. Shortly after enrollment, a JCE driving instructor will reach out to set a time for the test. The time slots will be on a first come, first served basis.
