Growing Microgreens & Vegetables Indoors (Adult)

Enrichment for Adults and Families / All Summer Programs / Home/Garden -
Summer 2026

Growing produce indoors is an easy way to add fresh, healthy food to your diet while staying out of the heat. In this class, you’ll learn simple, low-cost techniques anyone can use in any space, along with more advanced methods for growing herbs, greens, and vegetables. We’ll cover soil, plant varieties, lighting, and step-by-step guidance so you leave ready to grow with confidence. The class includes a hands-on microgreens workshop where you’ll build your own tray to take home, plus extra seeds for a second harvest.
