Women's Safety (Ages 16–Adult)

Enrichment for Adults and Families / CPR/First Aid/Safety -
Spring 2026

Gain the knowledge and confidence to protect yourself through awareness, preparedness, and practical safety skills. Learn how to recognize and avoid danger, escape and evade threats, and use non-lethal defense tools effectively. This is not a self-defense class, but you’ll practice escaping restraints and using pepper spray. Topics include situational awareness, forecasting danger, home and travel safety, scams, and safety with children. Designed and taught by Susan Meyer, an instructor with 20 years of experience in health and safety. Your safety is worth the time—be empowered and prepared.

I am the Operations Manager for Life Pro, where I coordinate enrollments and provide customer service to clients. In addition, I am an adjunct instructor for Tulsa Technology Center for Early Childhood Education. For the past 25 years, I have been a childcare director.
